A$AP Rocky's Lawyer Claims Gun in Alleged Shooting Was a Prop

A$AP Rocky, the famous rapper who has two kids with singer Rihanna, is facing charges in court. These charges are about an argument that happened in Hollywood in November 2021. A$AP Rocky is accused of using a gun to hurt Terell Ephron, who is also known as A$AP Relli. But A$AP Rocky’s lawyer says the gun was just a fake gun from a music video, not a real one.

The lawyer, Joe Tacopina, explained that A$AP Rocky and Ephron used to be good friends, but they had a fight because of some problems. Tacopina says Ephron started the fight, and the gun A$AP Rocky had was just a fake, which cannot hurt anyone. The gun is the kind used in movies and music videos.

The lawyer also said that after the police looked at the scene, they found no real evidence. But later, Ephron came back and "found" some bullet casings. The lawyer says Ephron put them there to make it look like something happened when it really didn’t. He believes Ephron is trying to get money from A$AP Rocky.

The trial will continue on Tuesday. Before the trial started, A$AP Rocky turned down a deal where he could have gone to jail for six months if he admitted to one of the charges.

A$AP Rocky became famous in the 2010s with his popular albums like "Long. Live. A$AP" and "At. Long. Last. A$AP." In 2019, he was in a fight in Sweden, which caused problems between the U.S. and Sweden. This made former President Donald Trump help him.
