Earlier in the evening, at 9:30 p.m., a smaller earthquake with a magnitude of 3.7 was recorded 21 kilometers east of Hama. This earlier tremor was part of a series of seismic activities that have heightened concerns in the region.
Authorities have yet to report any casualties or significant damage from the latest quake. However, state TV has advised residents to remain vigilant and prepared for potential aftershocks, posting safety measures on social media to guide the public.

Raed Ahmad, head of the Syrian National Earthquake Centre, indicated that the recent tremor might be a precursor to a stronger earthquake, adding to the anxiety in the affected areas.
