A sad accident happened on Monday in Chatham, Illinois. A car crashed into a building where kids were attending an after-school camp. The crash killed four people, ages 4 to 18.
The crash happened around 3:20 PM. Many other people were hurt and taken to hospitals. One person was flown by helicopter to the hospital. The driver of the car was not hurt but was taken to the hospital for checks.

Police said three of the victims were outside the building, and one was inside when the car hit. The camp was called YNOT After School Camp, and it provides fun outdoor activities for kids.
Governor JB Pritzker of Illinois said he was "horrified and deeply saddened" by the crash. He added, “Parents said goodbye to their kids this morning not knowing it would be the last time. My heart is with these families who are going through so much pain.
