3rd Edition of Egypt Media Forum to be Held in Mid-2025

The third edition of the Egypt Media Forum (EMF) is set to take place in mid-2025, as announced by the EMF President, Noha El Nahas, on Sunday. The upcoming edition is expected to be a dynamic and impactful event that will focus on the significant role of young Egyptian journalists, along with other journalists from various countries. El Nahas highlighted that the forum will also tackle a wide range of urgent and critical issues currently shaping global media landscapes.

In her statement, El Nahas emphasized that the upcoming forum will reflect a stronger and more effective format. The focus will be on modern media challenges, including the ethical concerns surrounding artificial intelligence (AI) and the rapidly evolving technologies in the media sector. She indicated that the forum’s agenda would cover a variety of contemporary topics, with AI and media technology being central themes.

The EMF President also revealed that a press conference will be held soon to announce the detailed agenda and activities for the forum. The event is planned to be held under the same theme as originally intended before its postponement.

El Nahas pointed out that the forum's scope will be international, bringing together global experts and journalists to discuss pressing issues in the media industry. She also confirmed that the forum's agenda would reflect global trends and challenges, particularly focusing on the impact of AI and new media technologies on journalism and public communication.

This event, which will be held annually, aims to promote media knowledge, foster the development of media policies, and enhance the capabilities of journalists and media professionals in Egypt and the MENA (Middle East and North Africa) region. The forum was initially scheduled for November 23 and 24, but it was postponed, with no specific reasons disclosed for the delay.

The third edition is expected to be a significant gathering of media professionals, offering a platform for exchanging ideas, developing strategies, and addressing the evolving challenges faced by the global media landscape.
