252-Tonne UAE Aid Shipment Reaches Gaza

A substantial shipment of food and relief aid, totaling 252 tonnes, generously provided by the United Arab Emirates (UAE), has reached Gaza via the maritime corridor from Larnaca, Cyprus. Upon arrival, the aid was promptly unloaded at the UN warehouses in Deir al-Balah, marking another significant step in addressing the pressing humanitarian needs of the Palestinian people.

This delivery adds to the substantial humanitarian assistance already extended by the UAE to Gaza, totaling over 32,000 tonnes. This aid has been dispatched through a comprehensive approach, including 260 flights, 49 airdrops, and 1,243 trucks, demonstrating the UAE's steadfast commitment to supporting the vulnerable communities in Gaza.

Her Excellency Reem bint Ebrahim Al Hashimy, Minister of State for International Cooperation, announced the latest arrival of food aid intended for the northern Gaza Strip, emphasizing the UAE's unwavering dedication to alleviating the suffering of Palestinians in need.
