Authorities reportedly seized a significant cache of weapons and explosives from the suspects, including 1,645 grams of explosives, three hand grenades, one IED bomb, 12 detonators, a safety fuse wire measuring 32 feet, and a pistol. Banned literature was also confiscated during the operations.
"The arrested terrorists had intentions to carry out sabotage activities in Punjab, targeting key installations and individuals," the spokesperson stated. Nineteen cases have been registered against the suspects, who have been moved to undisclosed locations for further interrogation by the police.
This operation marks a critical success for Pakistani authorities in their ongoing efforts to combat terrorism and maintain security in the region.
