His Excellency Majed Ali Al Mansoori highlighted that the 2024 edition of ADIHEX marks a new chapter in the exhibition’s journey, which has spanned over two decades. He emphasized that this achievement is a testament to the ongoing efforts and support of the UAE’s leadership, particularly the commitment of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, and His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan. Al Mansoori expressed his gratitude to the leadership for their dedication to preserving Emirati culture and heritage, and he assured that ADIHEX would continue to evolve, enhancing its offerings and events year after year.

Since its inception in 2003, ADIHEX has grown tremendously. The exhibition space has expanded from an initial 6,000 square meters to over 87,000 square meters this year, a fourteen-fold increase. Similarly, the number of exhibitors has grown from just 40 in the first edition to 1,742 companies and brands in 2024, a forty-three-fold increase. The event is expected to draw participants from 65 countries, compared to 14 in its inaugural year, highlighting its international appeal. Additionally, over 600 media representatives are anticipated to cover the various events throughout the exhibition.

Al Mansoori also announced that the 2024 edition would introduce a special ADIHEX badge for falcons participating in the event, under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan. This badge will qualify falcons to join subsequent rounds of the prestigious His Highness the President of the State's Cup Championship for the 2024-2025 season. The exhibition will feature both live and online auctions for elite and rare falcons, a highlight of this year's event.

The exhibition’s expansion reflects the UAE’s commitment to fostering its cultural and heritage sectors. The significant growth in the number of exhibitors and countries represented showcases ADIHEX’s role as a global platform for promoting Arab heritage and traditions. This year, the exhibition will see increased participation from the Arabian Gulf countries, further underscoring the shared cultural bonds and efforts to preserve traditional sports and practices.

Humaid Al Dhaheri, Managing Director and Group CEO of ADNEC Group, noted that this year’s edition would feature record participation from major local and international companies. The number of exhibiting companies has increased by more than 58.5% compared to the previous edition in 2023, and the exhibition space has grown by 34%, now covering more than 87,000 square meters. Al Dhaheri emphasized that the exhibition’s success reflects the collaborative efforts of ADNEC Group and the Emirates Falconers Club, which have worked tirelessly to ensure the event meets the high standards expected of Abu Dhabi on the global stage.

Al Dhaheri also highlighted the role of ADIHEX in enhancing the competitiveness of national industries, with 435 national companies participating this year, making up 68% of the exhibitors. The remaining 32% are international companies, reflecting the event’s global reach. The exhibition not only showcases the UAE’s rich cultural heritage but also contributes to the nation’s economy by attracting industry leaders and specialized companies from around the world.

Saad Al-Hasani, Director of ADIHEX, added that the 2024 edition would feature 13 new elements and enhance the existing 11 sectors of the exhibition. These sectors offer a comprehensive exploration of traditional and modern outdoor pursuits, catering to a diverse audience. Highlights include advancements in firearms and accessories, global hunting and safari opportunities, and a focus on preserving Emirati culture and heritage. The event will also showcase traditional and contemporary arts and crafts, recreational vehicles, marine sports, and equestrian displays, among others.

In addition to these sectors, ADIHEX 2024 will introduce unique offerings, such as the inaugural participation of the Zayed National Museum, which will display its collections related to falconry and hunting. These new activities and displays will provide visitors with an enriched experience, celebrating the UAE’s cultural heritage while embracing innovation.

Whether visitors are hunting and equestrian enthusiasts or simply looking to immerse themselves in the region’s cultural heritage, ADIHEX 2024 promises to be an exceptional event. With its expanded scope, innovative features, and focus on preserving traditions, the exhibition continues to strengthen Abu Dhabi’s legacy as a global leader in the hunting, equestrian, and falconry sectors.
