The third edition of the Dubai Future Forum, organized by the Dubai Future Foundation, is set to take place on November 19-20, 2024, at the iconic Museum of the Future. This global event, held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Future Foundation, promises to gather 150 renowned thought leaders, experts, and speakers from across the world. Among the notable speakers are government officials, CEOs, futurists, academics, and policymakers, who will come together to explore the transformative potential of emerging technologies and global trends.

The Forum will feature around 70 diverse sessions, ranging from keynote addresses and panel discussions to workshops, with over 2,500 experts from 100 countries expected to attend. The speakers will tackle some of the most pressing global challenges, shedding light on how innovations in technology, sustainability, healthcare, and beyond will shape the future. As part of the event, representatives from over 100 international organizations will also participate, including those specializing in future design, AI, robotics, and environmental sustainability.

Among the high-profile speakers are Sarah Sabry, the first Arab and African astronaut, Dr. Makoto Suzuki from the Okinawa Institute of Longevity, Laila Abdullatif from Emirates Nature-WWF, Amy Webb of the Future Today Institute, and His Excellency Omran Sharaf, Assistant Foreign Minister for Advanced Sciences and Technology at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, UAE. These leaders will share their insights into the future of space exploration, sustainable practices, AI, and more.

Pattie Maes, a professor at MIT, emphasized the relevance of the Forum, calling it a pivotal moment for global development and the advancement of AI. Similarly, Bo Viktor Nylund from UNICEF Innocenti raised questions about the world’s future by 2050 and the responsibility we have to ensure a better future for generations to come. Anne Beate Hovind from the Library of the Future and Glenn Gainor from Amazon Studios also highlighted the importance of global cultural exchange and the potential of storytelling in transforming societies.

The forum will address five key themes that are vital for global advancement, including the urgent need for environmental action and sustainable practices to safeguard our planet, the ways in which technology and innovation can radically transform societal models, innovations in healthcare such as personalized medicine and global health solutions, offering solutions to humanity’s most complex challenges, and the need for new foresight methodologies to navigate our rapidly changing world.

The forum will also showcase 100 innovative projects under the "Dubai Future Solutions – Prototypes for Humanity" initiative. This program, supported by the Dubai Future Foundation and the Hussain Sajwani – DAMAC Foundation, highlights groundbreaking ideas and technologies poised to make a significant impact on society and the environment.

New activations for this year’s edition will include interactive events, cultural exchanges, and artistic showcases, aimed at fostering connections and knowledge sharing among participants. These activations will take place before, during, and after the main Forum sessions, creating a dynamic environment for collaboration and innovation throughout Dubai.
