Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty is celebrating her 16th wedding anniversary with husband Raj Kundra, marking the milestone with a playful and heartwarming moment shared on Instagram. In the video, Raj casually asks if they should step out to celebrate, instantly brightening Shilpa’s mood. As they step outside, Raj twirls Shilpa in a playful gesture, leaving her bemused before the couple shares a warm embrace. Shilpa captioned the post, "Happy Sweet 16 to US... still spinning in love, still choosing each other. Here's to always and forever. Happy Anniversary."
Beyond the celebrations, Raj Kundra recently spoke about the importance of maintaining a strong relationship with his wife alongside parenting responsibilities. Highlighting how children grow up and eventually leave, he emphasized giving equal importance to the bond shared between partners. Raj revealed that he and Shilpa have regular Friday night date nights, ensuring that their relationship remains a priority. He said, "It's really important that if you are in love, your children will grow up one day, get married, and leave. By then, you will realise that while you were so focused on them, the relationship between you two has faded away. It's very important to prioritise your partner first."
Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra’s journey together began with their engagement in February 2009, followed by their wedding in November the same year. The couple has two children: a son, born in May 2012, and a daughter, born through surrogacy in February 2020. Over the years, they have consistently shared glimpses of their bond, and this anniversary video further reflects their playful and enduring relationship.
